no idea what to put as my title..
seems like quite some time since i last blog...so many events over this period...notably the cny...
n it felt like its gone in a swift..
with an engineering mind, i am thinking of how to put everything together...ha...
worked as usual today n then dinner and a game of mj instead of ktv....luck was on my side today...i managed to win a "shi san yao"..
myself n colleagues have been really unfocused lately and made repeated mistake...that sucks big time...it makes everyone tense and demoralised the whole team. but there is really no answer to how it can happen cos its all the same processing, which means everyone knows what to do just that we commited human errors. wonder what is distracting the whole team. isit the festive season or change of management , increased workload? absolutely no answer...guess everyone just have to stay focus and be very careful.
attended an induction course on thur n fri, it was good. now i am clearer what my dept is as whole n know pple from diff sections and a good time to get myself away from work to refresh myself. despite learning abt the whole overview of the dept, there were also other off the work lessons which is valuable in life...
worked 2 full shifts on mon n tue...n gosh...maybe i was overwhelmed n got distracted from work...apart from that...i guess i had something else on my mind as welll....
cny....hmm...cny is abt bai nian, get ang bao, eat goodies, catch up with one and other, movies, gambling..
the only movie i watched was ah long...after watching then i realised it quite a far cry from what the papers were saying...it did not glamourize ah long....in fact there were 2 things the show wanna put across...firstly, everyone shld really think twice b4 borrowing from ah long and 2ndly ah long shld really curb their behaviours...
steamboat and lo hei at audrey's place..thanks for the arrangement and the lo hei from sakae was really worthwhile...
interestingly, i arranged for my friends from SIM to my place. haven done that for quite a long time..zhao dai bu zhou ah, qing duo yuan liang...haha... n my sis end up the biggest winner...anyway its really hard playing the host i feel...haha...cos its like quite hard to gel the guest together...
took a one day off from work. won the day off in a lucky draw...not sure if it the only lucky draw i win in my life...haha...end up with 2 mj sessions...haha..i thot my friend's skin was quite thick in this instance...he asked me to pick him then go to another friend's place for mj...omg.....it wasnt really on the way...but since he asked, it was quite hard to turn him down also...but the return trip i turn him down..i dropped him near my place n he took a cab back himself...that look bad on me lor... but i was really tired n i think it shld be safer that way (an excuse probably, hehe)
vday.....ask me n perhaps u will be told...haha...
i had to go back to work on chu 3 (big boo!) super turn off but no choice..super boring mj...haha... cos new player then the speed was really slow..rush home to take a shower then go elinor place n blackjack...i am so sorry i gave the steamboat a miss. the soup was thumbs up, thanks ah. personally mr prata is not my choice for prata...cos its not cosy...sit inside too warm..sit outside too dirty..
chu 2..went to wee kiat to exchange oranges...haha...its always only see him once a year...then went to relative's place as usual...gamble makan then my sis brought us to hilton hotel to eat cheesecake...oishi...but usually i will only a bite or 2 from these sinful food..
chu 1 is always wait at home for visitors...not much changes over the past yr...except one of my uncle is no longer with us...hai...its really sad that he couldnt make it till the new year...but he will always remain in our hearts. one of the uncle i admire most. cos he worked really hard to what he was and he has no airs.
attended my uncle's wake after everyday's work...just wondering y so many pple like to gossip n discuss abt religion...
worked almost the full day on cny eve...it was quite fun with all the celebrations ard in the office, probably some deity saved us in the nick of time...if not gonna in deep shit..had reunion dinner n blackjack n mj....was trying to make something happen....
happy birthday to xiaolan baby...hope i din annoy u that day...
happy birthdays to the jan n feb babies...mj...jas...serenes (so qiao, 2 serene in the office with the same birthdate)...daniel...alex...xueli...marcus n daddy...haha
oh yah...now i remember something quite significant ...it was the TPM...gosh...its really a new experience...to be appraiser n appraisee...as it is...i dislike judging pple and give comments as to how a person shld change n behave...actually quite uninterested in it but still have to do it as it translates into what bonus will each get.. its abt proving oneself...gong lao n ku lao...another enlightenment of another mostly used quotes from tv shows..."mei you gong lao, ye you ku lao"...
