Orientation @ HSBC
Had a good night sleep earlier and all ready to go to work today! haha...indeed i was...abt 40 mins early...kiasu...haah...so went to the mac n read papers...
orientation was quite the normal...met colleagues from diff dept....the presenter goes thru some slides n some ice-breaker... the presenter instilled confidence into us which i think was good.. it kind of made me proactive n socialable...haha...i took the initiative to talk to pple...n by chance i even made an short presentation...
a wet afternoon...lucky the unsheltered path wasnt too long...but still a bit drenched...i feel like an alien in the new office... new environment n new faces....was introduced to abt 15 pple...but i think i rem only abt 5 names...die..haha...then a very embarrassing thing la...had this online learning module which i took 4 tries to pass.....WTH....i think i was too conceited thats y.....after i fail the first time i thot i shldnt have prob passing the 2nd time...n indeed i did better than the 1st try but still fail...so i thot a third try surely pass liao...but fail aagain...DUH...din want to fail the 4th time...i went thru the notes again...luckily passed this time....phew...then spend rest of time to read thru some contract...n that abt ends my first day at work liao...
