barcelona!
hola!..i think this means hi in spanish..my enaction this time shld be more guided n precise, cos all my pics are in the comp!..hee..
reached barcelona abt noon time with very tired n painful legs...so i knew that day shld be going to be a nua day in the hostel to rest my legs...this time we had little trouble getting to the hostel cos the instructions given by the hostel was clear n the metro network in barcelona is superb!..the moment we stepped in, fwah!..a totally different feeling from the hostel we stayed in rome...its was clean, neat n bright! the receptionist isnt really young n beautiful but she is cute...haha..she wears a head band so there is no hair covering her eyes n forehand n speaks very slowly n "dei"...after we collected the keys we went to our rooms, brilliant...so nice n comfy..have aircon somemore..haha..badly needs that in the summer...staying with us is 2 americans n a female which i forgot where is from...they were very friendly luckily....after bathing i rested on the bed for a few hrs until it was dinner time...my brother was being considerate so he suggested we just go hard rock cafe to buy t-shirt n then dinner then go back hostel...thank god our hostel is not too far from the city central where hard rock is...phew..i bought a grey hooded sweatshirt n i like it very much...hee can wear to sch liao...my sch LT is so cold..after that we went to a restaurant for dinner...we had paellas...its something like a seafood platter with rice which u can find in fish n co...it was delicious!...ha...we wanted to ask for some drinking water but we were afraid they will give us sparkling or mineral water...cos that time we ordered that in a italian restaurant in venice n it cost us 5 euros!..which is 10 sing dollars for drinking water! so we din ordered n went back to hostel n drink tap water....anyway a friend living in london told us tap water in europe has a lot of calciums..so may develop stones if drink too much..so must boil it b4 drinking.....the next day we went to FC Barcelona stadium, nou camp...i guess anyone who watches soccer shld know that cos its a very big stadium n a club with very rich soccer history...went to its stadium n museum tour n some retail therapy at its megastore...anyway i was commenting on how superb barcelona metro is remember? its really powerful...cos initially we stopped at station collblanc but we wanted to try another way to that station but instead we "holland" n got to another station..the whole city is well linked with stations..so as long as u can find a station u can get to the place u want liao...wun holland one..cool! our itinery continues with visits to some of the more significant building in the city...they were all designed by a famous designer call Gaudi...there is one a church which has been in work for 100 over yrs liao still haven finish building..so we carried on n on...but this time its better than rome...cos we can take the metro!..dinner time!we had tapas n sangria!..yum~~~ tapas is something like a chinese dim sum n sangria is red wine...hmm..for those who remember my resolution for not drinking, well u cant blame me...i am in spain, how can i not drink sangria!...so i drank a bit...not really breaking my resolution ya..my brother is lousy..haa..he cant drink..he drink a bit only buay tahan liao...hai..wasted such tasty wine...hostel sweet hostel after that....rise n shine! we went to the port!...nice...i always like water but i cant swim...ha ironic yah..but maybe thats human nature...always yearn for something unreachable..wah...got meaning one hor..hua zhong you hua...haha...then we went to the beach...wooooah...naked women!haha...this is the 2nd beach i been to that allows women to go naked...that first one was a perhantian last holidays...k...i guess u know it..after that is more walking n walking to various places again...spent 4 days 3 nights at barcelona n then the next stop is london!..city of summer olympics 2012!...
