amsterdam!

arrived amsterdam on a comfortable schedule, no rushing n panic whatsoever...another cooling place, unlike spain n italy...finding our way to the hostel was quite a breeze too n fast...its quite a renowned hostel n indeed it looks reputable. nice staffs n facilities..its going to be another short stay here so we really got to make hay while there is sun..we went out to explore after we moved in our barang barang...the feeling was shuang...walking against the cool air w/o the luggage but it soon become disastrous..haha...we first went to the 2 famous museums there..rijksmuseum and van gogh museum...we din go in cos we arent that arty n its closed anyway...guess what!..hee we bump into the "La Grande Roue de Paris"(the Paris ferris wheel)..its not station anywhere but touring ard cities in europe...hee..i missed the london eye in london so how cud i let this chance slip by! b4 we boarded it, it started to drizzle but what the heck, the drizzle may end by the time we finished the ride....but it din, instead the rain got heavier..sooooo cold n we were w/o pur windbreaker or jacket...after the ride we wanted to wait a while in the shelter for the rain to stop..but it din, hai..so we had to brave the rain to the nearest cafe for a cup of cappucino...we watched wimbledon n played daidee there while waiting for the rain to stop..after the rain stop we made our way back to the city central to look for hard rock cafe..we engage in an interesting conversation with the shop assistant...
shop assistant, A : hello
my bro, B :hello
me, ls : hello
A: so where r u guys from?
B, ls: spore..
A: oh spore sling..
B: oh yah..haa..but frankly we have never tried it b4
A: haa..i haven been to the 2 museums (rijksmuseum n van gogh) b4 myself too..
it was so funny n all of us bursted in laughters...guess local things are always left for tourist to
try, no wonder the govt give so much attention to tourism..
after that we went to look for makan...we were so spoilt for choices but we cudnt make our decisions...cos we r already tired of all the food in europe..haha..all the pizzas n steak n fillet seems boring liao...so finally we settled down at pancake shop to eat pancakes..pancakes are traditional dutch cuisine anyway..
2nd day n our last day...haha..told u time were short...we had a sumptious breakfast at the hostel we staying in cos we realised in europe no matter how much we eat in the morning we will still be hungry again very soon..so we eat ourselves to the fullest b4 we set off for the day...the first thing we did was to take a canal tour...its a pretty slow tour..so for those we dusen want to walk too much can just take the canal tour ard amsterdam..after that we visited ajax amsterdam, another football club..haha....after that we went to the flower market...there wasnt much tulips cos the season was over...hai...another pity..anyway there were different names given to different coloured tulips...black tulip is called queen of nights..si beh cool name huh..haha...next stop we decided was the dam square..but along our way we had to pass by a shopping street...so more retail therapy for me n my brother...haa..
we saw a chinese temple on the map, so we decide to pay it a visit..but it was closed by the time we reached...so it was dinner time again...n pancakes again..haa...after dinner we went to the red light district n "window shopping"....wasnt really much to see but still a tourist attraction la so went to see see look look...next day going to take another flight again...to liverpool!...home of the beatles...we all live in the yellow submarine yellow submarine yellow submarine.....
