yo...wo hui lai le...
true in every sense, not just back from HK but also back to this blog space of my own.
haven been blogging for a while...n i admit the decision to blog is because bb has posted her entry on our hk holidays...hmm...rendezvous??haa..surey there was another reason y i am wanna blog cos it would be a great momento to keep n relive when i am old.. hopefully blogspot is still ard by then..hur hur...
N i am not supposed to read bb blog until i have posted my version.. so if i wanna read hers i got to blog first...
alrighty...the prelude to our rendezvous...oops...i mean honeymoon...ok...still not subtle enough.. holidays then... what a perfect timing to go on a holidays right after vday!
aiya...i thot it was the perfect smokescreen to tell bb just to wear what she would wear to Fosters. i thot it was well concealed cos she was harping abt going to there for hi tea n scones...so i thot i could just ride on it...haha...but...din seem as smart as i thot it will be...
i am so glad she liked my decision to buy the flowers although she told me not to...phew... but then...frankly how can i let my bb spend vday without a bouquet of her own...haa...i am glad she liked the collage too! hehe! i like the cupcakes, the muffins and the mugs very much too! thank you bb!
both of us din sleep a bit before the flight ..haa..ijust as we planned to concuss a while in the hotel after we touch down, the weather at macau was impermissible for the plane to touch down as a result we landed at shenzhen airport and had to spend 3 hours plus in the aircraft. as such, there was no time to waste n we had to go straight into action.
From macau, we took a ferry to zhuhai. Our first destination.
First place we explored after check in was the underground shopping mall..freaking big..but like bb concur with me...just have to cover probably half the mall will be enough cos the other half is selling the same things..haha...anyhow so we just walk, had some makan n bb did some shopping. I personally like the dessert shop in the mall..the steam milk and black sesame were pretty nice. went to hai xian jie for dinner upon melvin recommendation. abalone selling at a dollar each! however the way the dishes were prepared were too salty. before returning to the hotel we bought some mangosteens, bagus neh!
2nd day, we continued to explore the mall n bb did some grooming. then we made our way to hk. yuan lai bb cannot take ferry ride one cos she will seasick...better be nicer to me ah...if not i bring u shang chuang....haha...shang chuan i mean..
bb brought me to her fav shui jiao mian shop to eat. SLURP! weather there was quite chilly so i was yearning for more soup n bb requested for me. YEAH! haha..then we went to the escalator thing...gosh its really long de lor..guess it shld be treated as a convenience for the residence more than a tourist attraction! cos go up liao then how to come down?? few options only la...either walk down, roll down or take cab or other public transport. of cos we chose the first option. then bb brought me to a dessert shop famous for it durian pudding and puff...hmm...isit puff?..anyway i chose the pudding...not bad..but i still prefer to consume durian in its original form although down the years, the sensation from consuming durians has been diminishing...haa. then i think we went to flower street to shop. bb turned into a shopping queen...or i guess she already was. hur hur. somehow feeling detached cos i din wanna shop as i think my wardrobe is overloaded already so i walked ard with bb n see her shop...haha...dun be mistaken i am absolutely not complaining. so i just observe bb while she shop..haa...she is like so ren zhen and tao zui in her shopping world...haha... quite attractive...haha...ren zhen de nue ren......
next day...of cos eat again la...haa..hk...is all abt mai dong xi chi dong xi ma...next on our menu is DIM SUM! haha...its quite amazing how come we can eat so many varieties! n its super worthwhile. wu chao suo zhi. confirm. guarantee. after which we made our way to lantau island to see the big buddha. lucky the weather was nice. The last time i went with jas ml n des, it was pouring n we were all wet. then we went to wong tai xin to suan ming. shall not divulge cos tian ji bu ke xie lou...haha..more shopping at night..n more fruits at night b4 we ko ko ji...haa
next day... we went to sai kung to see the seafood market...hmm...some supersize fishes, prawns and shellfishes.. then sat at the benches enjoying the cool breeze with bb. nice. shop.eat..
last destination, macau.
first of all, went to taipa to eat crab poridgge.. normal only...the koi kee, ju xiang and feng cheng are everywhere la...haha...i thot there was no diff too...but bb asked an intelligient qn...n cant agree more that its true. the diff lies in the chefs thats all...haha...then we went to the venetian. din realised until bb mentioned it looks like Genting...but its much bigger n newer and sophisticated. Under melvin strong recommendation, we went to fisherman wharf. Already been there the last time i was there...haha...quite a big gap from what bb expected to be..
before we left...we had bamboo noodles, pork bun, egg tart, a taiwan pastry and then st paul's ruin b4 we leave for sunnyland.
overall a very pleasant holidays. especially cos its spent with bb n its my long break b4 siti returns from maternity leave.
alrighty! i can go n read bb's blog liao...
Regards
Lian Soon
