woke up today n the weather was still cooling, but as noon approaches, the temperature also escalates...i think its abt 30 degrees now!..omg!...k let me carry on from where i stop yesterday...after the last blog yesterday, i had some home-cooked dinner at home....but we did bought home some extra food, mutton curry and chicken masala..yum!..haven eaten masala in spore b4, shall find some nice ones when i return...my sis also have some ben n jerry ice cream so i took it for deserts,nice! i remember jasmine was telling me abt ben n jerry ice cream some time ago n a crack another stupid joke cos her bf name is also ben..haha..the idea of mahjong did cross our mind but we were all too tired after dinner..instead i went to take photos again..hehe..this time is the "night" version of my sis place...again..sorry for the non-pics...show u all when i back..then its nights off...

went to the megastore today wanting to buy the jersey, the last one that my sis bought n the price on the net was 25 pounds but over at the store was 40 pounds!..so i drop the idea..does feel a bit disappointed but i guess i have to be more rationally...after that we head to trafford centre, a very very very big shopping mall in manchester...we had lunch at this place called trafford tavern, the food was just so so but the servings were too big for us...had "chippy"...thats fish n chips...ha..guess its one of the authentic food that must eat in UK...later on we went to walk ard..only my mum bought 2 tops...i actually wanted to shop for something but nothing really catches my eyes...but actually we only covered maybe just 1/4 of the centre but i think my parents n my bro n sis were too tired to carry on..so we headed home...very hot today...pls get better tmw..will be leaving for italy tmw so i may not be able to blog le, hmm..shall try my best to find some place for internet...time for a little rest...ciao pple...

day 2 at manchester...the day broke really early...430am n there is light...lazed ard in the cosiest place i ever stayed in..hehe...then in the noon went to a chinese supermarket and restaurant to buy some stuff n yum cha..haha...foreign stuffs are always cheaper in another place...normal things that we find in out ntuc suddenly became superior goods n superior goods in ntuc become normal goods here...like pasta n fishballs..haa...then above the supermarket is the restaurant...the dim sum served was nice n another good thing is there was promotion! all at half price! after that my brother n i went to old trafford for the stadium n museum tour..hmm...anyone soccer fans to comes to manchester must visit here!took a whole lot of pictures n been to the places of the stadium only previously seen on tv...n also a few places for the players , managers and press..like changing room, dugout ...the batt went flat after a while...was so disappointed but luckily batteries were sold here...the tour ended at 5pm but the megastore closes at 530pm so can only go again to the megastore tomorrow...hmm...think i shall end here for now...till again pple..

hello pple!...its 530am over at manchester now...touched down 430pm yesterday after long tiring 13hrs flight...did not the customs at the airport too be so strict, they were quite easy with us but a couple from msia was grilled n asked many funny qns..my sister pick us up at the airport n drove us to her place, along the way we drove pass old trafford! woo yeah!...her place is so nice! it used to be an old church which has been converted to a private apartment. the living room is on the top floor, kitchen on the 1st floor and bedrooms are in the underground, shall post some pics when i am back in sg. We then settled down a while n went to chinatown for dinner..the dinner was not bad but its a bit salty , expected it cos its cooked by cantonese..its so cooling here, i think i haven sweat a bit at all till now, i feel so clean...haha...the daylight here is pretty long...from 430am to 930pm...my sis said its the same at other places in europe...well it wud be good cos my bro n i were pretty worried over security issues when we gonna be at other places so we can go back to the hostels b4 the day gets dark n it will already be like 10pm...haa...i think i am too "chi na"..all the prog here r in english...i miss chinese variety shows n movies ..haha...din do anything more for the rest of the night le..n it was a night of sleep "with" air con..haha..i seldom on the aircon in sg cos my threshold of chill is pretty low....ok...shall continue blog when i have the chance...ciao pple...take care

alright my update for the day...with regards to my earlier blog, i finally managed to plan a timetable...but it isnt utopia...not exactly what i wanted...but dusen matter much...can always alter to my satisfaction when sch reopens...only continue to pack n watch tv...haa...channel u superstar is quite fun, but it really isnt much diff from spore idol...no novelty.....i am becoming a big fat ass again...had been suppering....i must get rid of this habit when i get back...n shall watch my diet n pocket carefully in europe....till i come back pple...take care!

lets recall what i did yesterday...hmm..more purchasing n packing...hmm...i am feeling so freaky...i just feel that i am bound to leave some things out, but i hope not...then rest of the day was spent at home watching tv...hmm..my cousin came over with the pounds n euros we asked her to help us change n the travel insurance policy that she prepared for us...hmm...cos the whole family is travelling so the beneficiary for all of us is my sister..ha..so if we.....touch wood...then she will be rich!...just an advice for those who r travelling ard..there is a card call internation student card, guess its gonna save u a lot n pretty useful when u r travelling..too bad i heard of it too late....later on friends called for supper...went to geylang for dou hua n you tiao..memories came back again.....for pple who knows me long enough will know i have gout, so actually i shld abstain myself from beans stuff...so everytime i eat dou hua its a gamble...i hope i dusen get a gout attack...luckily it din this time...phew...k, for now i have to carry on with my eCR, wish me luck!

yesterday

did not have access to computer last night so din blog, anyway i started my day with some packing for the trip...more or less done, just need to buy some stuffs then can get it ready by wed n then can all ready to go lor!! then went to play mj with some excampmates, we were short of one leg, so the wife of one of the excampmates got to stand in, thanks jasmine...hmm...i guess the courtship period is always sweet, but once u get married by things get different...somehow i just find that this campmate of mine is quite nasty to his wife..like he will tell her off if she throws his "feng", or not careful in throwing a tile...well..maybe thats how they are used to communicate or thats just the MCP in every husband.. but i do feel a bit unjustified for jasmine...desmond..if u r reading this pls be nicer to her lah..haa..after that went to 2 excampmates place to borrow their backpacks for my trip, wow, RS backpack is big, just nice for the trip, however roger's one was a bit small..most probably wun be using it, but anyway thanks guys!...promise my mum i will be home for dinner but mj overshot dinner time ask my mum to leave some food for me n will have them when i reach home...well.."a promise is a promise"..haha...this line is power...but i think only ms chew aka mrs teh n my cousin knows y i am saying this...my bro gf was at our place, so i knew she wud be staying overnight, thats y i have no access to the computer, got to find contingency plans to spend the night...finally managed to get ms procrastination to get her butts out of her hse...we went to kbox at cineleisure...sang till 5am...until our voice is gone n broken...po hou long...then went to jalan kayu for prata n chatted there...ha...i was evily comtemplating to cook up some stories n create some scandalous affairs between her n some of our mutual friends..those long "feud" back then...haha...we chatted till daylight then decided to call it a day n went home to sleep....

today
hit the bed at abt 7am...was expecting myself to be sleeping like a pig till late noon at least...but the sunlight n the noise of the day was too much for me stay asleep, so i decide to wake up n see what i can do to make my day productive...realising that i am putting on quite a lot of weight i decided not to eat anything till dinner...a campmate was on duty yesterday so today off and he suggested to meet for some makan...i stoodby my resolution so i just had a glass of sugarcane when we met but he told me its actually not a wise choice cos it defeat the purpose cos the sugarcane is very sweet...well...whatever..haha..after i went over to his place n had chatted a while...well..there dusen seem to be much that we can chat abt n he seem pretty tired i decide to make a move...but actually i have a dinner session with some friends later n i dowan to go home first so i drop by a friend place which is just nearby...felt very sleepy when i reached there...but din sleep cos he is abt to go to the gym in a while...hai...this part is going to be confusing..so cocked up...initially was to meet at cwp swensens for dinner but one guy raised objection n wanted something else, so changed the venue to yishun...this frend of mine lives in seletar but i am not going to gym with him but will be meeting another friend to walk walk at northpoint since the makan place at night is at yishun, so i offered to drop him at yishun...then he say he dowan to eat n yishun but prefer to eat at swensens..so he forced me to drive him to the gym at woodlands n say he will persuade the one who raised the objection for dining at swensen, but once we reached he say lets just carry on with the original plan..argh...idiot...haha..but nvm la...i also lazy to inform all the rest too...while driving there already arranged with the friend which i was supposed to meet to walk walk at northpoint to walk walk at cwp instead..so walk walk a while then sat at mos burger to chat...chatted until they were done with the workout then made our way to yishun to makan...hai...got a told off from my father cos he thinks i am spending too much time outside home...hai...so sian...among the 3 children he has i am always the one that got scolding...this time in front of a frend somemore...so malu..haa..very confusing right..think i will use names or initials next time...
k...dinner time...its quite a funny gathering anyway....firstly somehow got a feeling its me who organised this dinner for myself as a farewell dinner for a 3 weeks holidays...its not lor... just that a frend wanted to arrange a movie but cos i din really wanted to watch a movie so i proposed for a dinner instead..then it became quite a big turnout for dinner...so funny...well...nvm lah..its a good thing to meet up with friends anyway...some friends had to work tomorrow so we din stay long...went to carpark to get the car...damn it! there is a scratch on the boot!...dunno if its vandalism or someone who accidentally scratch it...so so suay...just gave the car a whole new paint job last week n it got scratched....hai...felt pretty tired after last few late nights out so went home for and rest..
the dinner was so unsatisfying...i still feel hungry...so i had found some food to fill the stomach..hmm...a little too much to fill it...argh..i feel so guilty now...
the end to another day...hmm...think i need some more inspiration to blog...the interest is diminishing...diminishing law or returns....

happy duan wu jie everyone...got eat rice dumpling?...woke up ard 2pm today cos i slept at 6am...i had 1 kee zhang(yellow colour n eat with orange sugar one) n 1 ba zhang...hmm...think my taste bud has changed...used to prefer nonya one over the salty one...but now i find the salty one tastes good also...my bro asked his colleagues over to mj...so i am only confined to the black box at home but there wasnt any shows that i fancy, so i just channel surf for a while n then went to read the papers..after that i watched tv again...watching the rerun on zheng qing on channel 8...it was a hit when it was first shown...i din catch the first part of the series(cant remember the number..maybe 200+ episodes)..but later on watched it from there because.......anyway then the mj stopped...so i went to the room n used the comp to do the usual stuffs on my comp..check email n msn...chatted my cousin who is working in belgium..then she ask me to send her our itinery for our europe trip then maybe we can meetup in europe...hmm..that will be pretty nice...i guess its always feels good to see someone u know when u r abroad....so i emailed her our itinery..hope we wil be able to meet there...later is more nua at home...some sensitive issue were raised over dinner...my brother has resigned..its kind of upsetting my parents, but well..i still think dun think he made an incorrect decision if he dusen like the present job..hope he will be able to find a good job when we come back from europe

after dinner went to the fav kopitiam in Y***** for a meetup with excampmates... haha..arranged it with them then they say the only reason i can excused myself is if i am going out with chicks..well too bad...ms procrastination continues to procrastinate so i meet up with excampmates instead...as usual..meet up with them is full of jokes, crap n nonsense...chatted n laughed all the way for 4hrs...decided to carry a luggage instead of a big back pack so borrowed from steve, thanks steve!

then its home sweet home...few thots for the day....1)life is always u see me good i see u good..right jas mei mei...haha...cos only u call me bro?..haha...2)ren suan bu ru tian suan...chatted with roger, one of the excampmate on the msn who was also at the kopitiam just now then realised he has a big back pack...if we had mentioned at the kopitiam just now then cud have just driven to his place n take a look but now i have to make another trip again...well..everything happens for a reason...haha..very positive ya...3)not everything can be expressed in blog, unfortunately...i guess everyone jus wanna have some secrets n some privacy for themselves..but it cannot happen totally in blog...so is there any other ways we can express ourselves as well and still maintain the privacy that we wish to have...the sarongparty girl blog seem to aptly reflect this...4)having no options may not be totally bad since we can forgo that part that requires us to really think hard n getting that "one best way"...

very very shag now...but i think i shall blog my entry for today b4 i hit the bed...played 4 rds of mahjong at my cousin's place...from 1pm to 2 am..damn shag now....at the end of a long day, i lost 4 dollars n my brother lost 6 dollars to my cousin's bf....then decided to donate it all to NKF..thanks yi hui!, u shall be blessed! had a bad feeling that we will get fined for overdue parking at the carpark n indeed we were..hai..that means more money spent...hmm...did nothing else today, therefore a short entry...hai...the leg still not 100% ok...so disturbing...shall eat some painkillers n see if the pain will subside in my sleep...good nite pple...ciao.

okay...today seems a bit messy, din really organised my programs n went out...firstly, went to hougang mall n played pool with my cousin..its to me quite a lousy place to play pool...hmm..the table is bad, the pple there r so young n no free parking..haha..after a while , her bf came..played awhile then they went to have dinner n we went separate ways..

jioed a friend for dinner, but she is perpetually lazy n rather nua at home, so instead had dinner with 2 ex-campmates at our fav kopitiam...this kopitiam at y***** is really power...hmm..all the food is not bad n the carpark above it very safe...never seen any fatimah there b4, have not been fined b4 for the few yrs or illegal parking..haa...but its all going to end..hai..so sian..its going to have a gantry in the near future, so that means have to pay to park car there....no lah "kiang kiang kiang"...haha..its the knocking of spoon against the glass when stirring the milo or teh...
its was quite a nice meetup with them...eating n laughing away, reminscising(dunno how to spell) those days during ns...those worries free day...slacking n dun feel guilty, take money from parents also no sense of guilt...but those days r gone...

after that then we went to play billiard...y did my fav OCC have to restrict us from wearing slippers?...i do understand ur stand...but wearin slippers are so much more comfortable isnt it?, our feet need to breathe too....

its wednesday night!...ladies night, our minds were perpetually on the pretty gers along MS...haha..so we decided to for there for a spin n ogle at the gals...haha..hai...my parallel parking sucks...din not got into a lot nicely, but who cares....funny..MS is like a ghost town..so quite...so unhappening..police also dun bother to come n patrol..or probably we were too early...ha but i think we did observe a phenomenon n we sort of came out with a reason y...dbl q is so long...so we guess it shld be becos the drinks there are so cheap...so they wanna get drunk there b4 moving to mdm wong..haha..sound logical isnt it...

well..we get bored walking along MS, wasnt fun at all...n pple were looking at us like aliens...cos we were like wearing berms n slippers jaywalking...so we decided to call it a day n went home...
hmm..maybe friday ...friday looks like a good day to club...hope i am able to find the right pple to club...dun give me those see how, see first reply....yes or not...be more decisive..dun give me hesitation...kills my mood!.. well so at least if its not workable then i can find other progs..

good morning pple! nice weather, hope everyone had a good sleep like me...hmm...din not blog last night cos someone was watching n i am shy to blog...haha...the person is my bro, if he reads this entry he will know what to do next time i am blogging..hee..but how can i let my faithful reader(s) down just becos of him....

alright.. yesterday was an action-packed day...a family outing, firstly we went to carrefour at PS to buy a adaptor for our europe trip, it was essential cos my brother n i will be travelling ard europe n we will need it to charge batteries for our camera. after buying we had waffles at gelare, yum yum! but it exceeded our duration at PS..initially we decided to go there was becos of the first hour free parking, well but nvm...at least everyone is in a good mood...

then we went to Peninsula hotel to collect our air tickets. believe it or not, but its the first time i am travelling on plane..haha sua ku right? this tour agency is owned by my ex-campmate's family...so next time if u pple wanna get air tickets maybe i can give u his number. anyway just a tip for those who r confused which is peninsula hotel n peninsula plaza like me, plaza is the one with burger king, easy to remember?..heh.. anyway parking at peninsula is pretty ex man..2.60/hr!....cost of driving its really high...

the next stop was si ma lu guan yin miao...its the first day of a lunar month so it was very very packed, after praying we went to have some food at the hawker center....i wasnt too hungry so i bought a goreng pisang n a fried yam, it was 1.20 each...it surprised me..quite ex isnt it? while we were walking back to the car we walked past fu lu shou so we decided to go in buy a set of mahjong for my sis..she is so choosy, want a nice colour n the biggest size one...so in the end we bought a pink n size A1 for her...hai..my brother n i r so gullible, we asked the vendor if all the things like dice n chips are included inside..he said yes so we din check...but...after we got home then we realised it was w/o the dice, what a dishonest businessman.. we then we had to go to my auntie house n take some ba zhang(rice dumplings) from her....since stagmont camp is pretty near her hse, i decided to call n see if the e-mart was opened, wah piang, lousy man...i had to get directed 3 to 4 times b4 getting the number for stagmont camp emart, as i was on the phone i needed another phone to record down the number..so i tried to take the phone from my brother n dropped it, sorry huh brother..hee

k, we finally reached my auntie hse...left my parents there n then my bro n i went to the emart..bought 3 pairs of shoes, one for me n one for my mom n dad...the size was too small for my mum n my brother had to bring it to change ..so ma fan...then stayed at my auntie hse for a while...

on the way home, the owner from the car workshop called n told us our car is ready for collection...extension to a hectic day...so went home had a bath, a short rest then went to collect the car...hai..a car accident is so so suay...waste money n waste time n so troublesome...argue here argue there..claim here claim there

finally, the end of a hectic yesterday..haha...eventful for me but i guess long n boring to read..

finally taken the bandage off my leg, but there is still some remnants of discomfort...hope it will get better b4 i fly to europe....

another typical nua day...woke up today eagerly anticipating to get my leg unbandaged...but.. it was not to be...the sinseh applied some medicine n i had to be leave my leg bandaged for another 2 days, personally i really felt it was redundant cos i am really quite ok le..well..whats another 2 days when its already bandaged for the whole week....after that was mj again...but it was really just for a while n pass time...i din want to sleep n there wasnt anything else to do, or probably i just lazy to do something that seem more worthwhile...like reading a book or maybe some simple workout at home ...haa...dinner was not bad today....my mum made some chilli, with garlic one n i think i eat a little bit more than i shld, my breathe stinks..the smell of garlic was...er...unbearable....wai kit taught me to eat some minty sweets but there wasnt any at home...too bad.....so i just drink some crysanthemum tea, some twisties n a chewy grape sweet...not too bad, managed to get rid a bit of the irritating smell....super sleepy today, felt asleep on the sofa after the dinner, was watching tong xin yuan halfway n feel asleep...until the 10pm news was over...then chatted on the msn for a while n watch the "hao se er ren zu" on channel u...quite funny..haa..some pple r just so spontaneous while some pple r just shy....i remember there was a show called "aha la piao chao ren wang" on channel u some time ago...i was walking along orchard rd with my friend then n we were also caught by them to play...the celebrities that day was quan yi feng, celeste chong n xiao zhu...n i think i said something funny on the show..hope not too many friends watched n remembered what i say..haha...hmm..think i shall end my entry of another boring here...till next time....
